JR STILL under the weather! Another Covid test. She stayed in bed all day, something she should have done a week ago, but didn’t. However, I asked in the chemist’s and they suggested gargling with aspirin dissolved in warm water, four times a day. She’s done it a couple of times, and declares that she ‘feels better’ (I’ve heard that several times this week…)

I went to collect Pip about 9am, and took the two dogs round the Links. Very cold STILL, but sunny. The dogs and I then kept warm by the fire, while I watched a couple of programmes I’d recorded about Elon Musk. Fascinating. Also, a programme about algorithms. Even more fascinating, but well beyond my ken… While I was out with just Archie in the afternoon to the cemetery (Pip refused to come) we had HAIL (briefly) as we walked home. 

Pip has a new, very smart haircut. Abi says she had him done professionally, and I think I’ll treat Archie to it before we go on holiday - they do the ears, pads and nails too. He’s quite excited about it.
