Day 2 New York
A beautiful day in New York with temperatures to rival summer in Rhodes. We cycled around Central Park (several times) (with way too many clothes on for the temperatures), enjoyed an ice cream while listening to buskers, visited the Museum of Natural History and the spectacular Solomon R Guggenheim Museum and finally, exhausted from the heat and cycling, we walked down Fifth Avenue where the media circus was waiting for Trump to visit his tower. The police presence for any event like this amazed us as there were 2 police buses lined up for this (that we saw 4 hours before his arrival) and yesterday there were about 40 police for the presence of the mayor and a robodog!
Central Park was a highlight and I loved taking in the atmosphere while listening to a saxophone, cello and guitar. I've honestly never seen as many joggers as I saw there and it's obviously the place to be for fitness and relaxing in the sun.
