You ..............

 ............. are going to be so sick of my driveway renovation by the time it's finished!!

The "grab lorries" didn't come so Billy-Billy and Jack-the-Lad set about removing the dark grey, boring concrete right outside the garage door.
They told me that, in parts, it was eight inches (20cms) thick - took them 3 hours with a super-sized jackhammer and the bobcat!  Very noisy too.

The 'finished' product is the main photo with the original look inset bottom right.   Really nice couple of lads so plenty of coffee and I treated them to a (shop bought) homebaked pizza for a late lunch.

Hopefully "grab lorries" tomorrow and then more excavating under where the giant molehill is at the moment.
