Flowers

This is one of my favourite times of year in the garden as it is usually a riot of colour. I’m also never sure what bulbs Mrs C may or may not have planted the previous autumn, so don’t even know what plants I will see.
The white tulips are looking a bit worse for wear after the recent winds, but the yellow and red ones are hanging on in there. And that exhausts my plant knowledge so I can’t tell you the name of anything else visible in the photo.
A quiet day, otherwise. A coffee with Stu this morning meant I was passing the BMW garage on the way home. Amazingly - and only five weeks after they originally broke it (see blip of 17th March) - the replacement trim piece for the front wing had arrived. This was the second attempt as the first one got damaged during the painting process. It was fitted whilst I waited and I got a free wash and vac for my pains as well. Service chap told me to remind him next time the car was in for a service and he’d put some fuel in the tank as compensation for the delay.
It’s not a perfect colour match - they’ll have sprayed it to factory spec, but the car is six years old and will have faded slightly. However, it’s close enough and a few weeks of running around will soon make it look all the same colour.
If “dirty” is a colour, that is!
