Trees

My Sister-in-Law has her birthday today, I won't give her age away I'll just say she's knocking on a bit but younger than me!
She loves her garden and grows all sorts of vegetables, soft fruit and herbs in raised beds and pots. Marlane thought she'd like an apple tree for her garden so bought one yesterday, a Gala apple, and took it over to her this morning, in the i20. I didn't think it would be a great idea to take it in the MX-5 but it's actually been a lovely day so probably could have done, with the roof down.
The other photo is the flowering cherry at the front of our house. It has taken a bit of a battering with Sunday's storms but seems to have recovered a bit after a wet, but gentle, day yesterday.
