Low hanging branch

An opportunity for a close look at the flowers of the Horse Chestnut tree, which are normally well above head height. Apparently those at the top of the cluster  are male, female at the bottom and those in the middle are a mix of both - interesting! A bright sunny day but with a strong, cold, Easterly wind.
