saor-latha

Not quite a holiday (that comes later in the week) but felt like one as neither of us have any external commitments and whilst these are generally self-imposed it was nice to have a "free-day".

We headed into Perth whether T collected some items from Rohan he'd ordered and then made our way to Dobbies. We enjoyed a coffee and shared a Bakewell Slice and bought some hebes, heathers, potatoes, rhubarb crowns, iris rhizomes and some pot plants (this one included).

We then headed over to Tescos to stock up on some staples and to buy items which are generally in short supply in the local co-op. This included orzo which I used to tonight to make Greek Baked Orzo , one of the recipies which my sister has recommnended. It was very tasty , although I didn't actually bake it.

The rest of the day has been spent planting some of today's purchases, washing and making up beds and practicing step dancing and gaelic.
