Promising ...

It is always good to see the return of blossom on our apple trees.  Here's hoping we get another good crop this year.  We also have some cherry blossom on one of our cherry trees but our tulips are yet to bloom. Can't say I blame them though - it has been *very* cold here today and we even saw a few drops of snow.

This afternoon I went round to see KL, a fellow genealogist, who is from this area and a wealth of local knowledge. In one of live's strange coincidences it turns out that we have a shared DNA in match in common (EI).  EI is my second cousin once removed and I am related  to her via her paternal side and KL through her maternal side.  We had a lovely chat over tea and scones.
