All about the biscuit …

Every writer’s room, script meeting,  starts virtuous and then at some point there is a cry for biscuits.  The production secretary over delivered here. Here’s Kirsty our Assistant Script editor hiding behind the heap. 

Reduced to blipping about biscuits after a v busy day.  Nick our writer was sitting delightedly by set when I got there having hopped on my new favourite train from Haymarket to Glasgow Queen St and then on to Stepps which is right by our studio.   We watched a bit together before having to go to the script meeting.  

We then spent the day on the second block script with the BBC commissioners zooming in.   Out in the evening for dinner with one of our major actors joining us and telling us long and hilarious stories. 

The casting announcement came out today and there was a lot of good feedback.
