It’s Not Over…..
…..Until You Have Eaten The Roast
On a bright clear morning it was a camp fire breakfast for Mrs S and I using Marks eggs - after all he won’t be needing them today.
Having eaten and settled back with tea/coffee we revived a message telling us that Mark was ready to be picked up from Torbay Hospital.
Mrs S headed off and I made a start on packing the camp away.
Arriving back with a heavily bandaged foot encased in some sort of medical sandal Mark was in good spirits and oversaw the packing and stowing of the camp into our vans.
The Sunday carvery before departure has become a bit of a thing and we thoroughly enjoyed it, especially Mark who had endured a twelve hour “nil by mouth”.
On the road, Mrs S driving Marks van with him directing, I followed in our van, we made good time arriving at East Wittering in good time. This enabled us to see the size and depth of the water filled pothole pond on the private road outside Marks place.
Dinner consisted of coffee, lots of, and the nibbles we never got around to eating during camp whilst watching a film.
‘Nobody’ was a bit like watching John Wicks Dad in action, hugely enjoyable though.
Todays photo, the clock on East Wittering High Street.
