Thank You
Walking Paddy on Thursday I noticed when we returned that his collar was missing. I’d obviously not clipped it on properly and it must have come off whilst he was hurtling round the cemetery off his lead. I’d resigned myself to not seeing it again as it would have been in the long grass.
Saturday night Sam opened the front door to find it on the doorstep, brilliant.
With no message or note so we have no way of saying thank you other than a social media post, definitely worth coffee & cake as a reward.
St George’s Day or for the RN, Zeebrugge Day, was more relaxing than I thought it might be. A meeting with the Town Council to discuss the D Day 80 plans was followed by Joshua arriving home, lovely to see him again so quickly even if this is only a 48 hour visit.
Royal Naval Association meeting in the evening, a quiz with me as quiz master. Couple of beers, couple of rums should encourage a good nights sleep.
