The Meadows

After several hours on the laptop this morning and into the afternoon I was in need of a good walk. The weather was a bit brighter than forecast so I made my way to the Meadows.

My own forecast the other day that the cherry blossom would be in full bloom in a few days was also out. The recent cool spell has held it back. Nevertheless it is beginning to look great. I had to wait a few minutes to get the walkway as empty as this - and avoid the many taking selfies.
