Day 3 New York Happy 60th!

What an amazing day for Chris's 60th. We started at Grand Central and caught the subway to the Financial District. There, we visited the 911 Memorial Museum and Ground Zero which were extremely moving and brought back the horror of that dreadful day. We then visited the World Trade Centre.  Another terrifying lift experience that was worth it for the spectacular views. Afterwards, we went to the Oculus for lunch, Wall Street, walked across Brooklyn Bridge, spent some time relaxing in the Dumbo area of Brooklyn where we indulged in a delicious ice cream with brownie toppings, caught the ferry back over to Wall Street, on the subway again and then out for a lovely (very expensive) steak with a free pudding. An exhausting but amazing day with tears and laughter that I will never forget.
