Earth

We behaved like real tourists today, going round London on the open-top bus. We ended our first leg at Buckingham Palace, waved to the Queen and played around the fountain. Orla made up her own song about the Great Fire of London. Then we found a cafe for lunch and got the tube to South Kensington to spend a couple of hours at the Natural History Museum. We were here with Orla two years ago, but she couldn't remember it. We went round the Earth gallery and I told Orla lots of facts. She seemed genuinely interested and was taking it all in, which was great for me. Then after a sojourn in the Central Hall taking lots of pictures of the diplodocus, we headed to the dinosaur hall. It was closed for refurbishment last time we were here. We really enjoyed it. Conor woke up half-way round and started screaming his head off, so I had to sit down and feed him. I then had to feed him again on the top deck of the open-top bus heading back into town. I'll have to collect all these and see what wins as the most memorable!
