Bloomin’ Thursday

Our Christmas Cactus has gone wild! She started putting out buds in March and gradually they’ve been opening this week. Aren’t they gorgeous? Incredibly we’re enjoying more flowers now than we did back in December. Perhaps she’s a Spring Cactus :) • Her December flowers were the first in four years. She started out in my work office that was bright and sunny, but retired to the top of a desk in our darker living room. Last Fall I finally moved her beside this big window and it’s made all the difference. Thankfully the cats ignore her. “Her” because she’s Barbara, named after my SIL :) • Kitty’s name is Grouch • We saw an osprey today! After we placed our groceries in the car eagle-eye MrsP told me to look out over Cobboossee Stream. He made several awkward attempts to catch a fish. After watching for awhile we assumed he was a juvenile practicing his skills. Maybe he’ll return to the same spot tomorrow for a blip? • Peace & Love!
