A Day In The Life

All Gone

The boxelder tree that snapped in two during a winter storm was removed this morning. It took about 90 minutes for two to finish the job. They first trimmed the branches, then cut the smaller part of the tree into 12” pieces for our fire pit. The larger trunk-sized pieces were stacked on the edge of the grass. We’re hoping our neighbors who return from Florida mid-May will be happy to take them. They’re always cold for the first couple of weeks and burn a wood stove :) I took blipper Kathy’s advice and placed a bucket over the bleeding heart to keep it safe • Showers return this afternoon and evening. Thank goodness the hummers haven’t arrived because it’s quite chilly out. Inside too. I just added a fourth layer, LoL! Maybe I shouldn’t mock our frozen neighbors :) • Stay Warm & Cozy!
