The Grand Staircase Knossos

Our trip was cancelled unexpectedly by TUI yesterday afternoon, so we decided to make our own way to Heraklion and Knossos .
It took over 5 hours on 5 buses there and back, a long day. I slept a lot of the way there.
It was worth it , especially visiting the archeological museum in Heraklion. My blip is of the magnificent grand staircase at Knossos.
I had another bad experience at lunchtime. I chose a portion of chips thinking they would be a safe option. For the second time this holiday I found pieces of meat in amongst my food ( last time is was a piece of meat in a falafel burger). I gave the piece of chicken to a feral kitten down by the harbour
Thankfully our hotel has a large salad selection and other veggie food , so I’m eating really well most of the time.
