Paddle

Amazing day, blue blue skies, and worth of a trip to the river.

Breakfast with Liz and Becky - granola with yoghurt (3 flavours!) and coffee - wit the belated opening of birthday presents that had arrived while I was away camping.

Matt, Rach and I set off for the river. Lovely and warm, but by 3 the clouds had set in, and we went out separate ways.

I headed out on a bike ride in search of the sun, which I could see over towards Llanwrst. I ended up on a long explore, 3 hours of toil and hill, over 700m climbed, and got fairly lost. At the end it was beginning to become an ordeal, so I checked on the map to see where I was, and found I was very lost indeed. Had to jump a few gates and risk the wrath of Welsh farmers to get back on track.

Arrived back in time for salmon steak for dinner.
