Trapani, a tip of the triangle

Sicily is a triangular island (Trinacria) and the seaside town of Trapani is literally on the northwestern tip, where the Tyrhennian and Mediterranean seas meet. Fishing is an important industry and fish restaurants plentiful, to our delight — seafood every night! Walking the ‘lungomare’ in the early morning in time to see the fisherman bringing in their catch and tidying up their nets.
