Sunshine on the water looks so lovely

I went to the Hay festival today. It's been a beautiful day and I wanted to sing my way there (I do this a lot), so I decided I'd risk playing the John Denver playlist on my Ipod in the car. Now before you click away in horror, let me explain.

My dear departed Mum was possibly the world's biggest John Denver fan. Everywhere we went when we were kids the John Denver cassette (kids ask your parents) would play in the car, meaning my brother and I had a rather too in depth knowledge of the lyrics and harmonies for people of our age.

Anyway, since she died, I've found it quite difficult to listen to his stuff cos it generally makes me cry - hence the use of the word "risk" above. I was doing well until ....this.
