A pink path
This is in the grounds of my health club. A blue sky would have produced a better photo maybe!
A tedious start to the day as when I opened the front door there was lots of our rubbish on the ground as foxes had broken the bin bag which was ready for collection overnight. So all the little pieces had to be picked up . Although we have foxes in the area I did not know there is a mother and several cubs very nearby. We put our rubbish bag in a cupboard by the front door ready for collection around 6.30am, the gate on the cupboard has quite narrow slats which the little cubs must be able to get through.
Next the gardener for the communal areas came with an axe and a chainsaw to remove some overgrown Ivy , the ‘trunk’ was much too thick for us to tackle. Then he chopped it into several large bits which I could take to the big communal green bin.
He was telling me he is very annoyed that he has had to buy a new ULEZ compliant van for work as his is not that old but not compliant. So now he will have the expense of two vehicles. I can sympathise with him and lots of other tradesmen in similar positions…Sadiq Khan seems to be rushing this through.
Later I went to my Health Club to meet a friend and after to the gym on an exercise bike. I will not be gong again at 5pm on a Friday…the gym seemed to be full of lots of teenage boys and only one gym instructor who looked overwhelmed! ( I didn’t initially spot the gym guy as he is new and was much smaller/ shorter than many of the teenagers )
