Green winged orchids

An exciting day! We had a walk along the sea wall and found a line of quince trees in flower along the dike! Very unusual. See extra.
Then we went along to a little meadow to see if the green winged orchids were in flower, and they were perfect! Loads of Adder’s tongue too.
In the evening we went back to Fingringhoe to hear the song of the nightingales, which was lovely, we also saw our first swift of the year, and heard the first cuckoo of spring!!
I will try to bring them home with me!!
