Barbara’s Magnolia

I took an early walk around the town I lived in for so many years and brought my kids up in. Passed our old house (in background here). Very glad to see the deep pink Magnolia bush that was nurtured by my late neighbour Barbara (one of my ‘inspirational women’) is still going strong.

Work was intense but productive today, then drove to Chippenham to stay with lovely caring friends. I’ve messed up my ferry booking and am so glad! I know that’s not the normal reaction, but not having to get up at 5am is just such a relief!
