This is my life?

Those of you of a certain age will know the significance of the 'big red book'. Mine is not much different, although it tells my life story through qualification certificates and various forms of identification-related bumph rather than gushing anecdotes from celebrities.

I was offered a position at my school yesterday, something called 'Casual Supply'. Teacher-but-not-teacher, same as I'm doing now but different because I'll be employed directly by the school (there's Schrödinger again!).

In a spirit of defeat, but still with a tiny glimmer of hope for the future, I accepted it. I just need to fill in an application form so shall be trawling through my own 'big red book' for most of today then enjoying the rest of my four-day weekend.
