HIDING

I kept seeing posts and messages about what lovely warm Spring weather friends were having when it was about 8°C, raining and very grey here today. When the rain eventually stopped I went out with the camera and spotted some lovely things (from under my woolly hat). Best of all was seeing the swifts back - I didn't expect to see them for a while yet - and lapwing chicks. There was a little grebe, one of my favourite birds, too (extra).
The forecast says it'll be warmer tomorrow but with thundery showers, though at least the possibility of some sun. We'll see.
