Boys on a boat!

Highlight of the day was a boat trip around the estuary of the river Exe. Good guide who gave some interesting information, but not too much. Drinks - according to both kids a very good hot chocolate. And, blankets for the way back when it got colder as we turned into the wind.

An extra of the entrance to the marina - the penthouse at the top of the orangey building on the left was built for Chris Martin (singer of Coldplay who is originally from Exmouth) and his ex-wife (when they were still married!). But when it was completed they decided they didn’t want it and it was sold on the open market for £1.8 million!
