We headed out to East Street in the morning, to get rid of 2 charity shop bags and for a quick Asda trip.

Home very briefly and the forecast rain still hadn’t arrived. Bill called and asked if we wanted to go out for some lunch and see if the sun might last. They came and picked us up and took us to Flourish, a farm shop and cafe out in Saltford. So many lovely things, I managed to stay strong and only bought one thing (a jar of chimichurri).

This was my lunch, an artichoke and feta tart. Delicious! Looked around the homeware section, then hopped back in the car and went to The Boathouse for a drink by the river.

Home again briefly then back to Bill and Madd’s in the evening for a drink in the garden (with Paul and Elly too), some Beano cuddles, and some tv quiz shows.
