May Day Obby Oss festival

Popped into town as I fancied a pasty for my lunch.
Everything getting ready for the day, the red oss followers will be putting the foliage branches out tonight then the festivities start with singing late into the night. The blue oss followers will put their foliage out early in the morning (believing fresher is better).
The oss's make several appearances during the day until the evening one when they finally meet at the may pole.
I'm told by a local that drink causes some people to fall out, but by next year it's all forgotten and it all starts again.
