Art Express

This is the new Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, at the moment, the venue for an exhibition of selected standout HSC artworks. I never fail to be impressed and fascinated by the work of outstanding young adults - to gain an insight into their thinking and what's important to them.

In the afternoon I attended a fabulous fundraiser by a dynamic local gal, just finished her HSC, who put on a concert and afternoon tea to raise money for an upcoming trip to Africa as an aidworker and project initiator. She had us all madly beating african drums and shaking percussion instruments VERY loudly inside the local Uniting Church. Oooh, it was such fun :)
