The quickest crossing yet
To commemorate the crossing of the Blue Mountains 200 years ago by explorers Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth, today was staged the largest private flyover to have been held in Australia.
As part of the flyover, the RAAF Roulettes - the iconic Royal Australian Air Force aerobatic demonstration team flew over in what must be the quickest crossing of the Blue Mountains yet. I was lucky to be able to catch them in the viewfinder, let alone achieve a passable focus. Up large you can just see the pilots!
Zippy, to say the least!
