Violas and Pansies

My container of Violas and pansies is still very colourful, even though the plants have been flowering for several months now.

This morning I met with some  friends at the weekly coffee morning, held at the local church hall. We wanted to discuss how we protect the  burgeoning wildflower meadows, we have sown/ planted locally, from  the over- zealous grass cutting  brigade. It was a useful get together,  and led onto other discussions on sustainability and energy conservation.

This evening, Martin and I went into town for an excellent  dinner at  Brasserie Blanc, to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary.
