River of Flowers

By doffy

Monday: Bank Holiday

Another warm day.
Spent an hour or so sorting my stock of seeds. Some flowers were a few years old so I emptied packets into a bowl, mixed them and sprinkled them onto the deep bed behind the garage.
Sowed 6 large pots with salad seeds: Welsh onions, mixed lettuce, Rocket, Lobjoits lettuce, mixed spicy salad leaves and “Speedy Salad Mix” - some will be transplanted to grow on as larger plants and some will be baby salad leaves.
Whilst I was walking past the blue comfrey I noticed a very busy bee, maybe a Carder Bee, which was feeding on the comfrey flowers - today’s Blip :-)
Late afternoon had FaceTime with our little granddaughters and their Mam and Dad, everyone very busy and looking very well.
Then a nice chat with our Jo and The Sailor who are preparing for an adventure :-))
Loads of love and hugs to all our family XXXX XXX XX
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
