View from the Front Porch
The sky gave a spectacular show this evening, but I didn't capture a spectacular photo of it. This is what I did get.
At this moment the backyard is absolutely destroyed. Workmen dug a ditch all afternoon for a new gas line that will go to the new equipment for the pool restoration. The best photo of the day would have been of Bob dog looking seriously like he thought he'd jump over the newly dug ditch which has a large mound of dirt all along the other side of it. I stopped him before he jumped. He forgets that he is an old man; okay an old dog. (At the moment he is burying his chew bone between my pillow and Mr. Fun's on our bed--silly dog!)
I attended one last meeting at school today. Tomorrow is the first day of Final Exams. Tomorrow evening our grandson, Emerson, graduates from high school. That will be a rare and wonderful moment drenched in emotion.
Now it is night. So long till tomorrow.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
P.S. And the view from the back deck is here. We love living here.
