A lovely chestnut mare

On our way into Pollok this morning Holly and I pass the local stables and often there are two horses in the field. I don't the names of either but this one is the friendlier of the two and always comes over to the fence hoping for something more exciting than grass to eat.

A bit of sad news. I made an early visit to the Heritage Park and found that the little family of 4 Greylag Geese (blipped last Thursday) is now just a family of 3 ..... hope the remaining gosling survives.
