furious

Nelly was absolutely furious this morning. She spent ages on her chair that’s next to the windowsill barking at the orange man across the road. There’s been a collapsed drain further up the road for a while and today the Council came to mend it. Lots of cones put out, half the road cordoned off, and traffic lights set up. There was another orange man near the corner with the Stop sign. They both communicated via their mobile phones. After about 15 minutes she decided to leave them to it, and walked sedately out into the garden.
