Common Blue

I think this is a Common Blue. After a while following it all over the garden it finally settled on this big Green Alkanet leaf. I’ve got about 15 photos as it slowly opened its wings in the sun - this being the last one just before it fluttered off. So blue and so tiny. Lots of butterflies today as it’s been warm and sunny and there are loads of wild flowers opening. Got stuff done in the garden this morning which was nice. Great to see the huge clematis that we had to cut down earlier this year is full of little green shoots.
