White Rabbit Gallery
An outing to this inner-city gallery with five floors of contemporary Chinese art, a bookshop and tearoom. I liked the huge geometric shapes made from compacted textbooks, a library of identical blue books, a wall of randomly scattered Chinese characters for “good” and “bad” on tiny slips of paper seemingly drawn to a lightbulb.
This is a detail from the last mentioned, Wang Zhiyuan’s Close to the Warm.
Saved the top two floors for next time.
