Curcuma Alismatifolia or Siam Tulip

These are the flowers I got yesterday and they mix really well with my pink and white peonies and red alstroemeria. These are high strong and big flowers (the pink flowering bit is about 3.5 inches/9 cm high) which can apparently last for two weeks. They belong to the ginger family and are related to the curcuma varieties that produce the spice curcuma or turmeric. These specific flowers come from Thailand. They do smell spicy, could be great for a men's aftershave.
