Scattered petals, shattered dreams

A bit of a disappointment, these pink peonies, they all lost their petals within the weekend. And the European election results are such a disillusion. I was educated on a European school, the European ideals are very dear to me. The idea that in many countries the anti-EU parties, many of them rather nationalistic and even xenophobic, have gained and that there are again more anti-EU MEPs in the European Parliament is scary and really disappointing to me.
