Settle Station…
…with bunting.
I got my preordered tickets from the ticket office and had a chat with the station man about getting a railcard. He was very helpful. I then crossed the bridge and sat on a bench and a few other people were there too.
The station man then came out and shouted across ‘ Anyone want a coffee?’ A few did and so he made some and actually brought it across the bridge! What a lovely man. You don’t get free coffee on many train stations.
The extra is a young mum trying to get her head down on the pram while baby is cooing with delight. The mum had fed baby, played with her and changed her nappy then lay her down. Do you know what was so nice?
She wasn’t looking at her phone she only had eyes for her baby. :-)
I arrived in Airdrie at 13.00 and met Marc and took him for a nice lunch then walked to Sabrina’s in time for the girls coming home.
Now I’m going to fold her mountains of washing!
Hope you’ve all had a good day.
