Coronation Tea and cake

A busy morning as we went over to Inverness to pick up some things from Halfords and then on to Morrisons to get the cakes etc for the Coronation Tea and cake event at Brownies. Wow, the price of cakes has gone up a lot !
We got some filled rolls from The three little bakers and took them down to Alturlie to eat them. The tide was coming in , surprisingly there were few birds around, maybe they are on nests elsewhere. Lovely views across to Munlochy and the Kessock.bridge .
With the help from the Brownies the Hall was decorated , tables set , flower arrangements arranged and cakes put on plates ready for the parents and friends to arrive 30 minutes later.
We had a great turn out much more than I was expecting so we had to get more cups and chairs out :)
I have never seen cakes disappear so quickly !
Mike and myself went down to the point afterwards to recover, lol, Brownies can be noisy !
