Primroses
Bob was off this morning to table tennis; although he can't run he can hit the bat, and enjoys the company too.
In the afternoon we were invited down to Rutherglen to meet up with Brian, our friend from Whitby Ontario, who is back for a week with Joy, his daughter, attending to the financial needs of his sister who has been diagnosed with dementia. We sat out in Joy's garden with tea and cakes, and a wee sneaky glass of wine too, and discussed many subjects. It was good to see Brian looking so well, and he will be back over at Christmas so will catch up again. We were young together back in Canada, but now we are all old but appreciative of our friendship formed a long time ago.
He has a slight worry in that when he checked his passport on the plane, they had stamped it beside his 'landed immigrant' status stamp with a 'temporary' stamp. He is trying to find out why this is, as it has never happened before, and he has lived in Canada since 1965. We do hope he has not been considered an undesirable after all these years. LOL.
We had such a lovely time, but I forgot to take photographs. So when I came home I blipped some primroses from the garden.
