thank crunchy

Got up this morning to beautiful weather and it continued to get better through the day. Sunny, warm, fantastic. Caught up on chores around the house, spent time with the children, the usual.

I cycled to Newburgh to get some bits for lunch and happened to leave the estate at the same time as three rather pro looking road cyclists came out of School Wynd after a stop. I hooked onto the back of them and idled along for a mile or so until they noticed that there was a guy in jeans on a fixed speed with pannier on their group. They looked offended and slightly ashamed and sped off. Of course I caught them up at the road works a mile later :)

Into Perth this evening playing a gig at the Green Room as part of a four-band fundraiser. Interesting line up with a classic rock band on before us and a death metal band on afterwards. The death metal band (Blackened Ritual) had a song called "Bringer of Doom". Lots of moshing, shoving and growling. More here.
