Beauty is all around us.

An invitation for Coronation celebration.

The Feast Day of St. Florian.
I am awaiting Paul's return this afternoon from his visit to see his father in Surrey. He should be home by early evening. He hopes  not to  get stuck in Bank holiday traffic.
It is a different weather pattern to the wonderful Summer like weather yesterday. The wind is gusty, swirly and very cold indeed. I visited the swans for a little while, but the cygnets are not yet born. Mother and father swan were guarding the eggs.
I have walked 6741 steps on my blip walk and although I took many photos of trees and flowers, I decided to post up this beautiful poster outside the Rishton Parish Church. It goes to show what a successful community church they are. While the church hall is being used for voting on this Polling Day, there is a prayer group at 9:30am and a Eucharist Service at 10am. They have a Community Cafe every Friday from 9am to 11am. From looking at the poster, which is a nod to the real invitations and very beautifully designed, the church will be doing what Jesus said to do in His commandment to love God, others and ourselves. They will be combining worship and thanksgiving,  followed by celebration for the King and Queen's Coronation with a community lunch. It is very inclusive.
Have a wonderful Thursday, go carefully if it is windy where you are and thank you for visiting my site today.
