BREAKFAST RITUAL

Richard makes me a cup of tea each morning and I am very grateful for it. However, in the summer the noise of the birds in the morning means he wakes up earlier and the cup of tea gets delivered earlier.
My sleep pattern means I am in a very deep sleep at this earlier time and I am not disturbed by the birds.
I am disturbed by the fact that my cup of tea is cold when I wake up.
