Steps towards manhood

Tom did heads in a single for the first time and made every rookie mistake there is to make bar falling in, including getting his blade stuck behind the start pole. But his times look quite good. If he can just stop wobbling....

Josh, however, finally managed to mend a puncture, get the wheel back on, and screw everything back together without (a) losing a crucial part, (b) bursting the inner tube through over-enthusiastic pumping, or (c) having a strop and 'requiring' urgent assistance from his mother.

Enough of the boys and their trials and tribulations though... I have interests too and finally today had some time to myself to mess around in the garden.

And it was lovely.
