Thursday: Bird Feeders and …
… Bardsey Eating apple tree full of blossom.
Lovely sunny morning but the wind is easterly so chilly, ideal for some gardening though :-))
MrD cut the grass first thing whilst I was cutting a few more branches off the Beech, which I used as pea sticks for the little row of peas which are with the leeks and shallots (for “spring onions”) - grass mowings used for mulching peas, leeks, shallots and for my square planter full of garlic, which has grown well this year.
Some of the seeds planted last week have germinated well, gave them a light watering and transferred the trays into a clear plastic storage box - they’ll need potting on if we get dry weather - forecast for heavy rain until next Monday, the garden will be glad of it!
At dusk there were a couple of Rooks/Ravens bothering our little birds at the feeders, I went out to shoo them away - will keep an eye on this :-((
May the 4th be with YOU :-))
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
