SOE Memorial - Beaulieu

We went to Beaulieu today along with thousands of others looking to take advantage of the glorious weather.

Lyndhurst in the New Forest was jammed solid. Fortunately, Beaulieu is well set up to cope with crowds. There was so much to see we were kept busy for six hours.

Plenty of blip possibilities. In the end I've gone for this memorial to the men and women of the World War II Special Operations Executive (SOE): Beaulieu was their finishing school before being sent on missions into enemy territory. Many never came back.
