Scarf, Anyone?

I was just giving our wee study/sofa bed room a tidy up today and decided to tidy up this shelf of scarves in the fitted cupboards here. These two piles don’t include the ones that are hanging on the coat rack downstairs, nor a few bigger shawl types. Some will have to go! I think I have so many because they’re easy things to buy when travelling. Excuses, excuses!

Included in here are two Liberty scarves, which Bb gave me in our early days; a piece of material that I’ve used as a scarf, which is the material of our bridesmaid’s dress. (Sadly, she and I have totally lost touch. Different lives, different times, no bad feelings); there are also a few beautiful ones from Cairo, which have little camels as tassels. I might blip some separately one day when I’m stuck for a blip.

Piles like this, tidy or not, isn’t the best way to store them or for to see what’s there when you’re looking for one, but it’ll have to do for the moment. I liked blipper Arachne’s way of hanging them recently on blip, but I’d need to clear some hanging room first. Watch this space!
