Kirkwall

The morning threatened to be warm but by mid-afternoon the wind was up at 43 mph and 6.4°C.  The Current Mrs Creel attempted to hang the washing out but retreated.  Occasionally we have received washing back through the post.  We have a reciprocal arrangement with Aksel Vilhelmson Johannesen (Faroese Prime Minister) who has often handled my small items.


I planted leeks, rocket, radish, watercress, spinach and peas in the polytunnel.   


CMC brought home an unexpected fish supper from Baikie’s – what a treat.
